Mollie King and Stuart Broad Expecting Second Baby Together

Pop star Mollie King and cricket legend Stuart Broad are growing their brood, having announced that they’re expecting a second baby together.

The BBC Radio 1 DJ, 37, and sporting star Stuart, 38, became engaged in January 2021, after first getting together in 2012, with a brief split in between.

They then announced the following June that they were expecting their first child and adorable daughter Annabella was born in November 2022.

Sharing the joyous news that their firstborn is set to become a big sister, the happy couple took to Instagram this evening with a photo showcasing Mollie’s blossoming bump.

The three were inundated with messages of congratulations, as Giovanna Fletcher commented: ‘Huge congratulations! Xxx’

Mollie’s The Saturdays bandmate Rochelle Humes also left a series of heart-eye emoji.

‘Ayyyyyyy’, commented Clara Amfo, while Gemma Atkinson wrote: ‘Ahh congratulations! How lovely’

Mollie and Stuart regularly share an insight into their family life with their online followers, whether it’s trips to Disneyland or documenting their daughter’s first steps.

Alas, her introduction to motherhood was anything but plain sailing, as she and Stuart - who played his final cricket game last July - welcomed Annabella just days before Mollie’s dad died.

The presenter suffered the devastating loss three months after her father, Stephen King, was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

In a previous social media post, Mollie committed to raising awareness of brain tumours while admitting she still finds it hard to write about her dad.

But, she’s ‘so glad’ he got to hold her daughter before he died.

So caring, funny, honest and the best Grandpa to the little ones in our family.

I know how much he would have adored Annabella and am so thankful that he got to hold her.

Mollie added: ‘I think of him every single day and talk to Annabella about him when we’re winding down in the evening.’

The Ego hitmaker paid tribute to her late dad when naming her daughter, giving her the middle name of Hope, which the newborn provided to Mollie in the dark days following his death.

Mollie wrote on Instagram at the time: ‘Annabella has given us lots of hope over these past few difficult months, so Hope had to be one of her middle names.’

‘She has been our ray of sunshine and I know she’s going to continue to light up our lives.’
